Sorry, couldn't work out how to do the normal spoilering! If I’ve missed anything, let me know ☺

OK, so the rumours are true… it’s Amy Gledhill, Armando Iannucci, Joanna Page, Joel Dommett and Kumail Nanjiani.

To be perfectly honest, I was a bit dubious (much the same as when I started watching the series with Julian Clary and Sam Campbell) but they were actually pretty funny and had good chemistry. I think the episode I saw was number four as it’s only the second day of filming (and they actually had another episode to film this evening).

I won’t spoil the tasks unless anyone really wants to know!

I’d definitely recommend paying the £15 for guaranteed entry, rather than booking a free ticket, as I ended up in the third row from the front, on Greg and Alex’s side of the studio. Basically in Greg's eyeline whenever he spoke to Alex.

There was a particularly filthy joke involving a spice cupboard that I am PRAYING gets left in, bearing in mind there's three hours' worth of content 🤣

When they’d finished doing pick-ups, they filmed a couple of bits for (I think it’s called) Scientific Taskmaster – Alex said it was along the lines of Horrible Histories/Horrible Science. Haven’t heard anything about it before!

Oh, and they haven’t filmed a new Champion of Champions yet. That might be worth getting tickets for!

P.S. Greg is a total babe. (Can I say Alex is too, even though he's taken?!)

Noooo please not Rosie Jones
It’s so difficult with Rosie Jones as the representation and diversity she brings is great - we definitely need more people with disabilities on screen. However, she’s pegged as a comedian and she’s just not funny. It’s got nothing to do with her disability, she just isn’t funny - not everyone is and that’s ok. She did a tv show a while ago called Trip Hazard where she travelled the UK with a different celeb pal each week and found out about somewhere new - I loved it! She was a decent presenter and bounced well off her celeb friend each week. But put her on panel shows etc and she just isn’t funny. I don’t think her being on TM will cause me to not watch the next series but the chaos that will undoubtedly ensue if anyone dares say she’s not funny will seriously put me off. Other comedians get criticised for not being funny all the time and no one bats an eyelid but the world goes into chaos when someone with a disability gets criticised for the same thing. It’s madness.

I saw Fatiha's post on Instagram about having cancer 🥲
Horrific experience and seems she just kept going without mentioning it.

I posted on this thread last June that I'd seen her live and she seemed to be having an off day. I checked the dates and that was not long after she'd had a hysterectomy and whilst waiting to see if she had cancer.

Attended the TM Series 19 World Premiere event with Greg and Alex tonight in NYC. The long-rumored contestants are correct. Overall, I think the premiere episode is a strong one and sets up some strong performers that will be fun to watch.

Greg and Alex were also on Late Night with Seth Meyers in the States tonight and also talked about the American contestant
Jason Manzoukas.
He asked to be on the show. They showed a clip on the program.

All in all it was a fun event with four tasks being done live with the audience and a fun Q&A. With the interval, it ran just under 3 hours. Definitely got my money's worth. There's far better recaps on what the Q&A talked about on Reddit, so check those out.
