Can we move the due date talk over to the pregnancy thread? I think we have established they come when they come and not on a set day

So I’m a lurker and have never posted but didn’t want to hide this as I’ve only just come across it again…
I used to be a self confessed shithouse and was a member of a group on Facebook (girlsmouth). When I saw posts of people slating their boyfriend I’d message the boyfriend horrible things as well. Not the best decisions I’ve ever made but I was young and stupid. However I’ve just come across messages on my fake Facebook and I knew I knew the name.. it’s Jamie!!! His ex had posted about him being controlling and messages from him.
I might get hate for doing it (I am not proud and realise now that screenshooting those posts could have done more harm than good) but after seeing she’s hiding her face and stuff it does make you wonder, knowing he can be so controlling. I’ve attached a screen recording and opened the profile so you can see it’s him as well.

So, my husband was a little like this. Didn’t seem too excited. He was happy, but not jumping for joy or anything. Until she came, and then he was just smitten. I had some complications after birth and he didn’t even find out until later because he’d followed the baby and nurses to the nursery when they took her to clean her up and everything. He just wandered back in after the nurses had revived me and fixed me all up and told me he’d been standing outside the glass, staring at her and thinking about how much cuter she was than allllll the other babies and that he couldn’t wait to hold her again. Had no idea what had gone on in the delivery room after they’d left He feels bad about that, but I don’t. My last memory before I passed out is him holding the door open for the baby nurse and protectively guiding the bassinet through, and rushing off behind them. They’ve been thick as thieves ever since. I treasure that.

Anyway, the point in all this is to say: I think there is some truth to the idea that it doesn’t really “click” for fathers (or the co-parent) until after the baby is born. For the pregnancy, they’re on the outside looking in and the baby is more of a concept than anything else. Unlike for the mother, that can literally feel the baby moving and growing inside her.

Is Gemma okay? She named her video the exact same wording as Elle's? Even down to the *EMOTIONAL* in asterisks? Can't be a coincidence surely. Word for word!

My guess is he’s proposed because she’s pregnant.

Her saying if it’s meant to be it will be and putting your trust into the universe that if you’re meant to get pregnant you will.

This is why the manifestation bollocks is so hurtful.

I am happy for her but people who have never worried about conceiving or faced baby loss should really try and be more mindful with their words.

Does anyone find it a bit weird in these ‘morning routine’ videos that influences will have to set the camera up facing their bed, get ready, then climb back in to bed and pretend they are just waking up? I find it hilarious for some reason

Ffs how can one do cozy 365days a year and still pull an audience. She has been doing cozy beige since last frigging autumn. Literally go and look at the titles since last summer on her vids. Has she not fucking evaluated her work?! Has she not seen the repetitive content for over a year? I actually cant understand her. Who wants this all year round? What about fresh? Uplifting, refreshing, revitalising, zingy, happy, sunny...... I think yous are bang on with the depression and no goal/purpose. She will get this house how she wants it and then think now what?! Empty still! Go live ur life Gemma ur young and free of child commitment rn, u have the funds u have the man u have an amazing body stop hiding urself... Its sad really.
