I have been a quiet watcher on this thread, I never intended to comment, I was just curious to see if anyone shared my opinions. I actually really liked Freya’s content for years, but I’ve unfollowed and unsubscribed at last - I just can’t take it any more and need to rant!
At this point, her constant shopping is a problem. The useless plastic tatt she’s buying, and encouraging others to buy, is unbelievably irresponsible. Plastic holders for wax melts?! Plastic cartons for products that are already packaged?! What is she on?!
I just can’t bear to watch the mindless overconsumption of completely useless products any more. It’s not even as it they’re interesting, it’s all beige, white or black crap that’s she’s buying for an ‘aesthetic’ that will be done to death in a year or two, when she’ll start the process all over again.
And in a cost of living crisis? She’s out of touch. It’s tasteless. I’m out!

So she clearly doesn’t know who William Morris is…in her pet gift guide she describes these dog accessory sets as being ‘from William Morris’ as though it’s a brand name and then goes on to say how lovely the patterns are. Yes dear that’s because William Morris was a world renowned textile designer who is famous for distinctive patterns such as these #educateyourself

I don’t think anyone has doubted she’s nice, I’ve never got the impression she would be anything but that.

But I disagree that there is no problem with buying things just to return it, you’re depicting an unattainable life in the mind of your viewers that even you’re not living, & it just promotes mindless consumerism that shopping this much is normal, which isn’t good for anyones bank balance or the environment.

If somebody gave me a bag of cleaning products and air freshners for Christmas I would wallop them with it all

I know all influencers love beige these days but something about freya’s home seems really sad / off to me? There’s no life or personality, every room is mundane and boring. (I hate the colour of her bedroom ) It does not feel cozy in the slightest, but quite cold and uninviting.
You can see the aesthetic she’s trying to go for but I don’t think she has the design skills to pull it off. Id love to see her put her money to good use with a interior designer rather than filling every room with white company dupes.
I think Toms old house was better and she seemed to be happier back then.

After some lockdown snooping I found out her name is Lauren

This may be an unpopular opinion but I have to share it. I absolutely hate their bedroom, especially the carpet. Too many different shades of beige/white and then a massive black bed. It just doesn’t look well put together IMO! Please tell me I’m not the only one, I feel so nasty!

But, she gives me vibes of Stepford Wife. Like she's all chirpy wearing her neutral knits but behind those eyes there could be a volcano waiting to explode.

Seems like the type to film a happy video one minute, then leave the room and go be a bitch to the builders over the noise.

Her house is a copy paste of other influenzas, the panelling, the carpets, the furniture, the lights - an image of her lack of personality.
She styles her home with packages and boxes..all for show…such a cheap beige ass.

Yeah that is so true about influencing. It seems putting your dog into daycare so you can talk into a camera all day about your latest shopping purchases causes social anxiety about going out for dinner.

I have no words for this girl just watched her latest shopping spree OMG £1400 on Farfetch and that’s not including all the stuff from TK Maxx/Homesense….but we do have her discount code spend £450 and save £35 wow
