Anyone else love autumn? I’m writing my annual autumn tv and film lists, ready for September and I cannot wait. My hygge playlists are in full swing on Spotify too.

The Range has some autumn bits in already and that momentum towards the end of the year is beginning to speed up.

Soup season is almost upon us, people!🍂🍁

What a wonderful first thread started by @roarke. Full of Autumn decor suggestions, TV series to watch and a thorough tutorial on the best doc martens to get this season.

Congrats to @LittleMy for the most votes for the thread title suggestion.

The countdown is on, we started on July 24th as none of us could wait and now we only have 9 DAYS until the official first day of Autumn!
It also looks like the weather forecast (at least in the UK) is finally on the cool down so crack open the pumpkin spice candles, cosy up in your fluffiest socks and blankets and pop on Gilmore Girls, not long now!

A special congratulations to all the Tattlers who've joined the thread and shared they're expecting a little one in Autumn, we wish you all the very best and can't wait to hear how you get on 🤱

Happy Fall Y'all!

My mum bought me the Velvetiser for my birthday last year. I had mentioned wanting it quite a few months - maybe over a year - prior, and she remembered. She was terminally ill and knew it would be the last gift she got me.

I was over the moon with it; my boyfriend and I absolutely love it. It gave us something that was easy for her to talk to us about when she was declining mentally - if we’d been using it, what new flavours we’d tried, etc.. I hope she knew how much it means to me, and how loved it is. ❤ We think of my mum every time we use it, which is a lot (mostly in winter - though we did make a few chocolate milkshakes in spring and summer, which are just as good). She got me two of the lovely hot chocolate mugs, and two of the selection boxes of hot chocolate. There’s something for everyone, but if you’re like me, you’ll love them all. The classic is probably my favourite, but the hazelnut praline has our hearts, too. 😍 If you go into Hotel Chocolat shops between holidays, almost everything is 50% or more off. My only gripe is that you can’t choose your own sachets for a selection box - for e.g. we want to try the peanut butter flavour but don’t want to commit to a whole box (as it has a few negative reviews). I know they have to do this to maximise sales, but yeah. Whittard hot chocolate works perfectly in it, too.

I would recommend it to anyone and everyone who enjoys hot chocolate. We’ve sung its praises to my boyfriend’s parents and we get the impression they’d love it, so we’re getting them one for Christmas. It’ll feel like my mum is still passing on joy. 🥰

TLDR: the Velvetiser is wonderful.

yay! 🍁 this thread speaks to me on every level.

it’s my favourite time of year (october-february 👌🏻) - breaking out my knitwear, my cinnamon scented candles, my cute matching scarves and gloves, ready to get all cosy as the nights set in. perfection!

I do no care if I sound basic - I am living for cold, dark, rainy nights, bubble baths, leaves on the ground, hot chocolate, comfort food like stews and soups, boots, scarves and thick wooly socks, candles and fairy lights, reading, cosy blankets.

Happy 1st September, everyone! There’s definitely a chill in the air this morning! But still 20 degrees later (where I am, anyway) 🍁🍂

Autumn is my favourite season. I’d love to have a cabin in the middle of a forest, wood burner, wrapped in a blanket with a hot chocolate. Total cliché but idgaf 😄

I’m new to this thread and I’m so happy I’ve found it. I’ve always loved autumn and hygge, not that we really get proper autumn in the uk. I’m in Essex by the way. I separated from my husband 18 months ago and moved into my own flat last September. I feel I missed out on autumn (and christmas) last year as I just wasn’t enjoying life, and previous years I was always mocked for decorating the house. This year I am going full on autumn. Thank you for the photos for inspiration, they are so beautiful
